The Caravan du Nord tour plays such a wonderful, vital role in spreading the musical talents of Minnesota artists to all corners of our state. The music lineup and locations for the Minnesota Music Coalition's 3rd annual tour have just been announced, and once again a litany of gifted local acts will be bringing their compelling, expressive music to a series of intimate stages at historic theaters throughout the state of Minnesota.
The Caravan du Nord is sponsored by the Current, who are graciously providing various DJ's from the station who will also participate in the workshops, host the social hour, and emcee the concerts as well.
Another of the tour's sponsors is Essential Sessions Studio, who will be filming and recording each event so music fans from all over the state and beyond can watch and learn from these distinctive creative programs.

The MMC continues to support Minnesota's independent musicians while also forging a deeper connection between them and their sprawling fan base throughout the state. And, in addition to the concerts themselves (which will feature sets by 15 different bands and musicians), the performers will also participate in creative workshops before the shows, where they and various music industry professionals will lend their creative expertise to aspiring musicians in the area.
After the workshops and before the shows, there will also be an engaging social hour where local artists can meet and network with the various panelists and professionals.
