Greycoats filmed new video with a drone, announce Turf Club residency
The adventurous Minneapolis rock quartet Greycoats are back with a premiere of their new video for the pulsating single, "Leviathan," lifted from their recent record, World of Tomorrow. The striking black and white clip, directed and edited by Will Keeler, captures the band in the familiar chore of loading up their van with their gear, just tinged with the paranoia so prevalent in the modern day.
The aerial footage that makes the video so memorable and impressive was shot by CAVU, who use a specialized, state-of-the-art unmanned aircraft to capture the overhead shots featured in the clip.
And, in addition to debuting their brand new video, Greycoats have also just announced an upcoming residency at the Turf Club every Tuesday night in October, with a fantastic array of local supporting acts joining in the fun.
After recently taking some time off from the live circuit to attend to some exciting new responsibilities, Greycoats are definitely planning on making their mark on the local scene in a major way come October, with a string of highly affordable ($5 each night!) shows that will help showcase not only their enthralling music, but plenty of breakout talent within the Minnesota music scene as well.
So, to get you psyched for these shows, be sure to check out the premiere of Greycoats sweet new video for "Leviathan" above, and head to their Bandcamp page and name your own price for a download of their new record, World of Tomorrow.
