Pixies expand North American tour dates -- Minneapolis in October

Categories: Just Announced

A decade ago, the Pixies reformed at the Fine Line Music Cafe and set a course to play their perfectly aged alt-rock to the largest crowds they've ever seen. Now they're coming back to Minneapolis with new songs -- their first album in 22 years, Indy Cindy, just dropped -- and a new bassist.

Even if Black Francis confines most of his engaging movements to his body above his shoulders, the guy is irresistible live. A new leg of North American tour dates bring the band back to the Twin Cities for the first time since a 2011 stop at Roy Wilkins Auditorium.
