If those "&" band T-shirts could talk, here's what they'd say

The definitive Guns N' Roses shirt
There's no band shirt more iconic, ubiquitous, and basic than the Helvetica Beatles names. John, Paul, George, and Ringo, spelled out in subway chicness, a few ampersands dividing up the royalty. It's telling the world that you don't have any defining taste beyond liking the Beatles, but you still want to be treated like someone who Takes Art Seriously.

It's also perhaps the most parodied T-shirt design in the history of pop music, so if you're a particularly miserable person, you can buy a Smiths version or a Pavement version from bootleg websites across the world. Naturally that spurned my content-creative instinct and I decided to venture into the CafePress design tab and make the worst possible Helvetica Beatles interpretations I could imagine. The results were dumb.

Adler's still alive? Probably in some back ally with a cock hanging outta his mouth trying to score a grain of crack.

Well, when you are contending with legends such as Adler (second from the top) it'd be easy to be overlooked.

And the only one from Minneapolis, lol. You'd think he'd be pretty high on the list Haha.

First off; yet another reposting of a repost here originally sourced from Village voice. Secondly; how in the fuck can you forget Tommy Stinson on the GNR shirt? He's only been in the band 17 fucking years.

Alright -- these are solid. I'd wear the hell out of these. Good work.

Do you remember the CD shirt with the names without pitman Alex Anderson

And yet another Village Voice article reposted here. But they still have yet to fix the GNR shirt. Tommy Stinson's only been in the band 17 years. It's not like he's an integral part of the band or anything.
