Cedar Cultural Center named best world music venue

Anyone who has ever seen a show within the cozy confines of the Cedar Cultural Center knows that the West Bank music venue is one of the best rooms in town. And now, for the fourth year in a row, the club will bring the music outside to their patio with the Cedar Outdoors series, a string of absolutely free live performances from an eclectic mix of talented artists. In addition to the music (and food and drink specials), this year will also feature an Invisible Arts Workshop before each performance, a partnership with the Somali non-profit, Ka Joog, that will highlight poetry, storytelling, and various creative activities for the public to partake in.
