You can't make this stuff up, can you? Minneapolis troublemaker rapper Prof and John Stamos recently had it out on Twitter, apparently. It seems they've had a love/hate relationship for a while now. Really, what other type of relationship can you have with Prof? (Remember his ribald Valentine's Day cards?)

Uncle Jesse from Full House took issue with the cesspool of come-ons and braggadoccio that is the @ProfGampo Twitter feed when the rapper reportedly called him a pedophile a few months back. The Rhymesayers signee told the Star Tribune that he was probably drunk and doesn't remember the tweet, but Thursday he was hit with a barrage from @JohnStamos.

Danny Brown on oral sex at Triple Rock: It takes two to tango

When Danny Brown returned to town with Action Bronson earlier this month, he said Minneapolis was one of his "favorite cities to play... and I think you all know why." Unfortunately we do, Danny.

Back in April at Triple Rock Social Club, the Detroit rapper was subjected to an infamous bit of kissing on his privates by a female fan in the front row, and an infamous bit of a social media firestorm followed. Notably, his tourmate Kitty Pryde struck a blow at the woman involved and called the incident a sexual assault, but Brown remained silent on the issue. Until now, which coincidentally is a few days before the release of his impressive new album, Old.

11 best ways CC Club regulars admitted to nights they couldn't remember

cc_club027.jpg

Since he started as the CC's day bartender in 1978, Bobby Bell has lost some memories to the years.
For every tale that regulars past and present recollected for this week's cover story about the CC Club, there were a handful more that they couldn't remember.

Some of these were simply lost to the intervening years: The story begins in the early 1970s, and many of the regulars included in it have been going to or working at the bar for decades. Some of the memories, though, just weren't there to begin with, claimed right as they were happening by pitchers of beer and late nights.

Here are 11 of the best memories -- and half-memories, and missing memories-- lost to the CC Club's beer-soaked walls.

Kitty Pryde calls Danny Brown Triple Rock incident "an actual sexual assault"

Kitty Pryde performing at Triple Rock on Friday
Danny Brown's show last weekend at the Triple Rock, in which a member of the audience allegedly performed oral sex on him, has opened up a discussion about onstage sexual assault. Brown's tour mate and friend Kitty Pryde has written a lengthy piece on Vice's Noisey music blog on the incident, referred to as "The Thing," which fleshes out several of the arguments she made on her (since-deleted) Tumblr in the days following last Friday's concert. Portions of her comments were quoted by Gimme Noise in our report on the incident.

Pop music performers of either gender have received unwanted advances from audiences for years, and Pryde alludes to being attacked by members of a crowd in Vancouver earlier this year. In her essay, Pryde asserts "'The Thing' was not a thing that Danny facilitated--it was an actual sexual assault, and somehow nobody gives a fuck about that but me."

Danny Brown's Triple Rock show sparks unseemly oral sex controversy

Danny Brown at Triple Rock Social Club on Friday

Live performance is an incredibly intimate bond between artists and fans, but that intimacy got busted worse than Danny Brown's front tooth during Friday's show on Minneapolis's West Bank. At minimum, the Detroit rapper led several fans at the sold-out Triple Rock Social Club to believe, and many to proclaim on Twitter, that they saw a female concert-goer in the front row performing oral sex on him.

At max, the 18-and-up crowd witnessed something that put Brown's evening alongside Jim Morrison's "Miami Incident." Either way, this is one of the most unfun blogs about Brown ever. There are some pretty graphic, NSFW stories that follow, so proceed with caution.

Earlier this year, Ice Cube revealed that his 1993 hit "It Was a Good Day" was a fictional tale, but his true-to-life good days include a quality cup of joe. When the rapper/actor/director recently told Bon Apetit about his real morning routine, he didn't mention whether or not momma cooked the breakfast with no hog, but did tout Minneapolis-based (and City Pages' Best Coffee winner in 2011) Peace Coffee.

According to Peace's marketing director Melanee Meegan, this is likely because there's a coffee shop called Downbeat in Cube's home city of Los Angeles. For the Bon Apetit piece, the magazine had Peace overnight coffee samples to them, but there has been no direct contact with the N.W.A. founding member as of yet.
