Free Speech Zones

Marches during the RNC will be restricted to one route, and protesters confined to a yet-to-be-determined area. Let me consult my shopping list:

[ ] Constitutional
[X] Upheld by the courts
[ ] Will end well

Oh Jeff Shaw. You support full blown un-conconstitutionality (is that a word?) on a regular. This instance could be filed under "Gray Area", but logic dictates that things will go much more smoothly if business is not impeded. They still have a voice, but their ultimate goal is to disrupt. Wouldn't they then be the hipocrits for not letting the convention goer's have un-impeded access to a free speech venue?

Restricted routes for protesters is a violation of their freedom of assembly. This has got to stop or we are all in danger of losing our constitutional rights. Peaceful protests of any kind should be the right of every American citizen. I rarely see protests by illegal aliens re-routed or impeded in anyway. As a matter of fact, in California I saw police interfering with Americans with a legal permit to march in opposition to illegal aliens re-routed from their legal licensed route to accomodate illegals. Where do citizens go for justice? No to our U.S. courts.
