Newsflash: Gov. Pawlenty would eat an illegal immigrant if it earned him a spot on the McCain ticket

One of the more inane aspects of the current VP speculation is that candidates must pretend that they're not really interested in the job. This means that public officials presumed to be on the short list are required to vehemently insist that they really just want to keep their day jobs.

The reality, of course, is that Tim Pawlenty, Mark Sanford, Tim Kaine, and any of the other folks currently being prominently floated would gladly gouge the eyes out of babies to get to the front of the line. Thus we have Pawlenty, grinning like a mischievous school boy, as he denies any VP aspirations in a conversation with The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza at the National Governors Association:

You people who publish this trash should be ashamed of yourselves. This is simply bogus propaganda, and no matter what Governor Pawlenty or any other Republican says or does, you writers at "$hitty Pages" miscontrue or just simply ignore the facts

JJ's comment is only true if you believe Pawlenty genuinely dines on immigrant. Otherwise it's difficult to see what facts were ignored.

Ms. Johnson, you are in need of a serious reality check. As a first generation immigrant to Minnesota, it's disturbing the way that this Governor has scape-goated immigrants, primarily Latino immigrants.

This isn't about Democrats or Republicans, this is about a Governor dividing a state, 1,500 miles from the border.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. It is both regressive and oppressive, not progressive. It cheats, discriminates, extorts, gauges, kills, lies, rapes, and/or steals for profit. This agenda stinks and deserves defeat!!

Republicans deserve criticism when they act like
liberals, not when they are conservative. No
more handouts for:

1. public education thieves
2. alternative energy
3. alternative fuels
4. abortion (AKA baby killers)
5. Corporate welfare
6. welfare bums
7. illegal aliens

More categories, for sure. You communists pukes
can shove it!!!

Tim Pawlenty has all the grace & charm of an insurance adjuster denying an elderly lady's claim for storm damage to her home.

In other words, a perfect match for the crooked influence peddler from Arizona.
