Inside RNC: Micro-celeb watch!
Strolling through press row is the way to go. You find celebrities of all stripes -- the major ones being pulled in for interviews, the minor ones attempting to get noticed, and of course the media-celebrity hybrids.
From the Fake News division, Samantha Bee from the Daily Show was taping a segment on the convention floor about 30 minutes ago:

From the other Fake News division (non-funny category), I saw Armstrong Williams doing his radio show. Yes, the Armstrong Williams who was caught serving as a paid shill for Bush Administration policies while posing as a journalist. Somehow he still has a show.
Also spotted: Michael Medved, who I should talk to, since I wrote about him here, and Bill Bennett, who I want to see if I can get back into gambling. He's a slots guy, I'm a poker guy, so maybe we could work a 50-50 split. He ran off before I could offer a heads-up challenge.
The evening's young, and I'm off to try to set up some interviews.
