Propheta started his musical career at the age of 13, he was inspired by great hip hop and reggae artists such as; Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks, Biggie Smalls Dr Dre El General, Vico C, Nando Boom, PlaYero, Steely & Cleavi, etc, Propheta who has created his own movement by taking crunk music and reggaeton and turning it into dirty south reggae crunk is one of the main exponents in the genre in Ny, he could be considered the lil jon or timbaland of reggaeton. Despite his young age, Propheta has had an extensive music career. During the mid 90's Propheta came to fame in the ny streets by participating in festivals and block partys. opening shows for to other artists such as Daddy Yankee, don omar and Wisin y Yandel. also producing and independently distribuiting his own records selling 8,000 to 20,000 of each tittle some of these tittles are Reggaeton Platinum 1,Sextassy Reggaeton Gold 2 and 3,Sobredosis Pistas and his own Mixtapes. Propheta, who is also a producer and song writer , has produced for a variety of artists. In 2003 he founded his own record label and released various albums with Universal Music Latino among audience's favorites his first release Reggaeton con el Propheta sold 53,000 copies with out a poster video or any type of promotions. ever since he has been participating in various projects along with big stars like; Daddy Yankee on Destruccion Total, then participated in papi chulo mix 2005 with El Chombo, lorna, Magic juan. He also produced and participated in Gasolina Del Reggaeton with Vico c,Tego,Zion y Lennox wich was the .. 1 album on the charts in germany He also produced and participated in Extreme Reggaeton , Kings of New York, Metropolis Beats and Reggaeton con el Propheta 2. in 2005 he participated in the album reggaeton exitos 2005 along with Luny Tunes ,Noriega,Cheka,don omar,Voltio. Presently he is preparing his next solo album "el futuro es ahora". As a producer he is working on the album "eL SisTeMa With other artist on his team like elchobbi,whitegold,masa,dice,hierro he is also producing for artist under kasablaca records,def jam,interscope expect propheta at his best for years to come check out towerrecords.com to find any of prophetas hit cd's
