Twins lose wrong coach

• Dan Barriero would say, you can't make this up. You gotta be kidding me. Newman gets fired as part of a shakeup because that dumbass, Ron Gardenhire wasn't crazy about him. Unbelivable. What did Newman do wrong? I always thought he did a great job sending the runners home. He did a great job working with the infielders in his time as the coach. He did a great job working with our young players. He put the time into his job unlike Gardenhire. It's decisions like this that makes me down on this team and some people here wonder why I am so negative about them this year. Here's a great example. How does Scott Ulleger stay on is simply beyond me? It's inexplicable and it's inexcusable. The hitters have regressed every year under Ulleger, but this clown is still the hitting coach because he is Gardenhire's type of guy while Newman is out because he and Gardy clashed. I have no idea how Gardenhire has any power about working with coaches or players after the shoddy job he did this season in which the team quit under him. He did not exactly did a great job leading this team all season when they had problems. Obviously, Al Newman spoke his mind on Gardenhire, the Twins, and Justin Morneau in a negative light to Dan Barriero several days ago. That sealed his fate and Al probably sensed that he was going to be gone so he spoke his mind. I wish Gardy and Newman worked things out and I wish Gardy was a bigger man. If I had my way, Gardenhire is gone and Newman is the manager. Al, Jerry White and Rick Anderson are probably the three guys who have a clue in the Twins coaching staff. Newman is going to be a huge loss. He wasn't just a guy who cracked jokes. He did a great job molding these young players into good players. When Gardy would complain about the young players, Newman did a great job being supportive towards them and all. Newman was the good cop. I am saddened that it happened. This news stinks. Terry Ryan should have found a way to make things work between Gardy and Newman. Gardenhire comes off really paranoid. Al can leave with his head high. I wish him the best of luck with the D-Backs and I hope he will get a managerial job.
