Are the Vikings better without Daunte?

• Johnson's quick pocket-passing and experience are definetely an asset. It's nice to see someone actually throw the ball away instead of turning it over or getting sacked. Tice isn't a brilliant coach, but to say that our team is horrible and always will be because of him is quite an overstatement. It amuses me how often people blame the quarterback and/or the coach if the team didn't win a superbowl last year. Look at our defensive ranking for the last 5 years compared to superbowl champs and you'll discover why we haven't been a major contender.

• Johnson does seem to focus better than Daunte.

• The vikings are a horrible team and will continue to remain that way until a new coach is hired. They need to get rid of Mike Tice! The "team" has no direction. We can't overlook this regardless of the last two wins and we shouldn't have to wait until next seasonm for this either. Can you imagine what our record would be if we had a coach that had a clue?!

• Johnson obviously is more careful to where the ball goes after the snap. Culpepper seemed to get rushed alot and it showed that he didn't trust his receiving end much. Brad doesn't need fancy work at QB if we continue to make points on the punt returns and turnovers. -J
